Philip holds a BCom (Cum Laude) and a BCom Hons (Taxation) from Wits. In addition, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.

After completing articles at Grant Thornton, Philip joined Mettle, providing expert advice on securitisations, debt structuring, leveraged buyouts, due diligence investigations and valuations.

Philip co-founded DrawCard with Steven Kark in 2004 where he pioneered the introduction of electronic gift and prepaid cards into the South African market. His wealth of prepaid card experience brings valuable grounding to an innovative and dynamic business.
